She was formerly a human child princess named Rola (likely meant to be Laura, Lola, or Lora in English, though it may reference the name Acerola) who was cursed into causing anyone in proximity to her to commit suicide. Later in the series, she resides in Koyomi Araragi's shadow during the day. During the Nisemonogatari series, however, she is far more outgoing and not afraid of speaking her mind and letting her will be known.Friedel Morgenstern (German) Shinobu Oshino (忍野 忍, Oshino Shinobu) is a mysterious vampire girl who acts as Meme Oshino's companion in the ruins of Eikou Cram School. Shinobu once had the body of a beautiful woman and the attitude of an experienced vampire. She makes her first appearance in Bakemonogatari #1. She has also made appearances in the anime series based off of these light novels: Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari, both of which are produced by Shaft and published by Aniplex. Shinobu is a character from the Monogatari franchise and has made appearances in the light novel series written by Nishio Ishin, featuring illustrations by Vofan, and published by Kodansha. Later in the series, she spends the day in Koyomi Araragi's shadow. In the ruins of Eikou Cram School, she is a mystery vampire girl who acts as Meme Oshino's companion. She is a vampire with the body of a child and is the person responsible for turning Koyomi into a vampire. Shinobu Oshino (忍野 忍, Oshino Shinobu) is a character from the Monogatari franchise.
